PRE-ORDER: GET BLACK FRIDAY EARLY.

We cover the frame, motor, battery and electronics for 3 years — one year more than the European legal minimum.

If something goes wrong

• Write to us and we reply within 24 working hours.
• We try to solve it remotely through the MAHLE SmartBike app. Most issues are fixed at this stage.
• If a workshop is needed, we find a trusted one near you and coordinate the repair. You just drop the bike off.
• And if it can't be repaired there, we collect it and our own technicians fix it. Parts and shipping at no cost.

Worth knowing

• It doesn't cover wear on consumables, or damage from accidents or misuse.
• Keep up with the periodic maintenance and charge the battery at least every two months.
• Keep the original packaging, or an equivalent box no more than 5% larger, in case the bike has to travel.

A ride around the block tells you nothing. Try your Legend at home for up to 30 days or 50 km — real commutes, real hills, real weather. If it's not for you, we collect it.

How it works

• You have 30 calendar days from delivery to decide.
• Ride up to 50 km. Those kilometres don't reduce your refund.
• Write to us through the contact form and we arrange collection with our transport partner.
• We refund the price of the bike plus outbound and return shipping. We check the bike's condition (usually within 14 days) and transfer the money within 14 days of approval.

What has to come back

• The original packaging — keep the box until you've decided.
• Charger, keys, tools, documentation and every accessory from the box.
• The bike free of dents, scratches or damage. If something is missing or damaged, reconditioning is deducted: charger €60, key set €100, documentation €50.

Applies to bikes bought on legendebikes.com. This is on top of your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, never instead of it.

No Legend comes off an automated line. Every bike is assembled by hand in Europe, passes two quality checks and is logged by its serial number before it heads to you.

How it's built

• Assembled by hand in Europe, not on an automated line.
• Two quality controls: one at the assembly plant, another by our own team.
• Every unit is logged by serial number with its inspection record.
• Components from proven brands: MAHLE, Panasonic, Maxxis, RockShox, SRAM, Shimano and Velo.

What that gets you

• MAHLE SmartBike system, from the German group MAHLE: motor, battery and app fully integrated.
• Service and spare parts from Europe, with no import waits.
• If anything fails, we know exactly how that bike left the line.

Design, customer care and after-sales service from Barcelona.

All four Legend models — Etna, Milano, Monza and Siena — are declared compliant with European electric bicycle regulations. The declaration is signed and published: you can download it in your language.

What they comply with

• EN 15194:2017, the harmonised standard for electrically power assisted cycles (EPAC).
• Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery.
• Directive 2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility.
• Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) on hazardous substances.

What it means for you

• 250 W motor with assistance up to 25 km/h: legally these are bicycles, not mopeds.
• No number plate or driving licence, and full access to bike lanes and cycle paths.
• Lights, brakes and the electrical system verified against the standard, not against our own opinion.
